Environmental Conservation & Reforestation

Overview

The Ronnie Fund is committed to preserving Kenya’s natural environment and addressing the pressing challenges of climate change. Our Environmental Conservation & Reforestation projects focus on restoring ecosystems, promoting sustainable agriculture, and empowering local communities to protect their natural resources.

Programs and Offerings

  • Reforestation Campaigns: We have partnered with local communities to plant trees in deforested areas, particularly around water catchment zones. Our goal is to plant 10,000 trees over the next three years to combat soil erosion and restore biodiversity.

  • Sustainable Farming Workshops: We train farmers in eco-friendly farming techniques that increase crop yields while minimizing environmental impact. Techniques include crop rotation, water conservation, and the use of organic fertilizers.

Tree Planting Initiatives

We work closely with local schools and communities to encourage tree planting as a way of reclaiming land lost to deforestation. This not only improves the environment but also contributes to local water security and soil fertility.
